well, more like Homopteranus unlikelus concept sketches than Pteranosimian sketches. what started out as a simple concept turned into my favorite group by far. Pteranosimians are saurian parallels to apes, with H. unlikelus being the human parallel. they live in a realm when the K-12 extinction apparently never happened. the Pteranosimians apparently evolved from Pteranodonts that broke away from their oceanic lines and moved inland for reasons unknown. able to coincide with the Azhdarchidonts due to filling different niches, they became highly successful, more diverse than the mammalian apes of our realm. unlike other pterosaurs, Pteranosimians are all bipedal, walking on their front legs rather than their hind limbs like Fantasipterosaurians. the hind legs are adapted into strikingly ape like hands, used only for manipulating items and not for locamotion. they also posses very large brains, the smartest of which equals with our own. two groups exist. the first are the tree living "monkey" Pteranosimians, with modified hooks on the tail and wings to aid in climbing and holding on to vines and branches. the other are terrestrial "ape" Pteranosimians, with unhooked wings and strait tails. many "ape" pteranosimians are flightless, although all retain some capacity to glide. other differences between them and pterodactyloids from which they came include fused brachio and uropatagiums, far forward facing eyes, stiff, fused tail rods and pygostyle, and more compact bodies. females also are viviparious, alhough they are not as advanced as placental mammals. females have modified salivary glands that produce a milky substance similar to that of mammary milk. all species also possess a hollow crest, larger in males than in females.

H. unlikelus itself has many parallels in culture and technology to us. however, they are more literal and less humorous, and their technology revolves around their anatomy, which makes it very different from our own. they also originated from colder climates, so they don't need as much clothing as we do and rarely wear it.

brace yourselves, the Pteranosimian pictures are coming

Your attention to skeletal structure and anatomy is stellar. You show you care a lot about your work.
